A look at the making of the album "Raising Sand"

The highly anticipated Robert Plant and Alison Kraus tour begins on April 19 with a string of shows in the United States, including a stop at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival on April 25 but the duo will hit Europe and then right after that on May 13 they will be in Paris to play the Grand Rex.

After Plant and Kraus leave the States they will hit the UK for three shows beginning on May 5 and then travel to Dusseldorf, Germany where they will perform at the Philispshalle on May 10, the following night they will be in Belgium for the Forest National show.

Plant and Kraus will follow their Paris show with stops in Amsterdam, Stockholm, Oslo and Bergen before hitting London on May 22.

After a series of shows in Europe Plant and Krause will have another run of shows in the States, it will be beginning with a stop in Roanoke, Virginia June 2.

Plant and Krauss announced they would be touring to support their Raising Sand album that was released on October 23, 2007. The album debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 chart and was ranked #24 by Rolling Stone in their Top 50 Albums of 2007.

While Plant and Krauss are expected to play several of the songs off Raising Sand they will also perform many of their own singles from their catalog.
